The perfect place in the world is not really a place-- it is in the will of God.

When you are in the will of God, you are protected. You are secured. You are sustained. You are filled with genuine happiness, love, joy, peace, and contentment that the world cannot offer.

Following God is not really about what you will lose, it's all about what you will gain. I remember what the apostle Paul said in Philippians 3:8, "What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ." If you lose everything you have here on earth but have Christ in your life, you have everything. The poorest man in this world is not the one who does not have money. It is the one who does not have Christ as personal Lord and Savior. And never, ever will obedience to the Lord be a loss. :)
